Why we're building this

Many workplaces bring large numbers of people to one destination on similar schedules. CommuteTogether explores whether lightweight coordination could make voluntary shared commuting more practical, potentially reducing individual vehicle trips.

It is a research concept, not a commercial rideshare or taxi service.

What this demonstrates

An interactive interface and simplified schedule/area matching logic. The sample offers, requests, and dashboard update during your session.

What it does not demonstrate: actual demand, road routes, travel times, savings, emissions reductions, safe driver vetting, or an operational booking system.

Help shape the next phase

We welcome feedback from workers, employers, community organizations, transportation researchers, and technologists. A real pilot would require voluntary participation, privacy safeguards, safety procedures, and an agreed governance framework.
